Anime of the moment: Kuroshitsuji

I love it! 24 episodes of Kuroshitsuji and I haven't had enough. There's something about the black humor and all the eeriness floating around that is just so enchanting and intriguing.

What is black, what is white? Who is good, who is bad? Who to trust and who to depend upon?

This is an anime where the demons are the good guys and the angels are the bad guys. Interesting, isn't it?

First Love

Anime of the moment: Hatsukoi Limited

This is those kinda light-hearted anime where you watched and laughed all at the funny, silly bits (it's a romantic comedy after all...) and then forget about it. Nothing impressionable, but I had fun.

Somehow I got this feeling the anime is targeted at the younger teenage girls. After, it's about first love.

Afa 09

Knowing that I'm such an おたく, Mr こいびとbrought me to AFA, despite him hating to be caught in crowded places. And thankfully for Mervyn, he was there early and was able to help us get tickets in advance!

It's decided. I've gotta do a cosplay at next year's Afa! (\^o^/)

2.0

Movie of the moment: Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance

credits:wikipedia

If you've watched Evangelion: 1.0, you would probably still be lost watching 2.0. If you've watched the anime series itself, I don't know... you might have a better idea.

Evangelion is one of the oldest mecha anime around, after Patlabor, before Gundam.

If you're watching for action, there are tons of them. More so than 1.0. But I've got a feeling, everything is not as straightforward as it seemed. There are some pretty existential stuff going on there which you'll have to read between the lines. Definitely not for the general audience, unless you're a die hard Evangelion fan, or an anime fan, or a Maaya Sakamoto fan (yes, she's one of the seiyuu~♥).

Miracle Train

Anime of the Moment: Miracle Train

credits:animenewsnetwork.com

This is a very unusual anime. The bishounen are actually train stations and they are on this Miracle Train waiting for troubled ladies to board the train. Each time, there can only be one "customer". And the guys will try to help these ladies solve their problem before the ladies can leave the Miracle Train.

Sometimes abit too slow pace, I'll only recommend this to a hardcore anime fan like myself. I found it quite useful actually to learn about the Oedo line in Japan and what each station/area is famous. It helps when they depict quite realistic drawings of the stations and the surroundings.

Ennio Marchetto

I really enjoyed the performance by Ennio Marchetto.

Thank you Mr こいびと~~~ ♪
