Terminator: Salvation

One word - COOL! Okay, it's only cool because it's not like those old school terminator. At least, a Terminator not starred by Arnie. At least, a Terminator with cuties like Christian Bale and newbie Sam Worthington!

I do not remember previous Terminator series. Either I didn't watched them at all or they didn't make any impression. But this was not just some action flick. It's much more watchable, and quite exciting at times. But give me a choice and I probably won't watch it again. Just once is enough.

Baby, My Baby

The idiotic landlord decided he wanted to sell this place after all. I need to look for a new place soon but so far, it's either outta budget or it's not suitable. I'm so worried for Baby, several times, I've even considered the option of putting her to sleep and it's killing me. I wanna go with her... if I really do have to put her to sleep. It's only fair to her. Everytime I think of this... I get all upset and ended up crying for ages... It's like killing your very own daughter...

If I do survive this without Baby, I can guarantee that I'll no longer be what I used to be... but a lesser human...

Angels & Demons

I did not watch the Da Vinci Code. Neither did I read any of Dan Brown's books. I dislike things that are too overhyped.

Having said that, I went to watch this film with an open mind. I was impressed. Not so much by all the hype or Tom Hank's acting, but rather by the thought put through into writing the book, or the script. A lot of things have to be thought through carefully, a lot of backwards engineering, a lot of effort and a lot of research. For that, I applaud Dan Brown. And then, part of the reason I watched this was for Ewan McGregor of course!
All those other things about this being sacrilege, well, I would say, just take it with a pinch of salt. I have friends (okay, just one friend, who's really ignorant curious) who've asked me whether the Catholic faith is like that, after reading the Da Vinci Code (plus all the hype). I can only laugh and say no.

It's only fiction.

So, if you like mind boggling stuff, do check this out. Definitely not for someone expecting non-fiction. Ha!

Movie of the moment: Claustrophobia

A Hong Kong art film, I found myself wondering "Wtf was that???" at the end of the 100mins. In fact, I was feeling rather claustrophobic myself watching Ekin Cheng (not my fav guy) with Karena Lam (not as pretty as her usual self) in the car.
I got the gist of the story, and I felt the feelings and emotions the director wanted conveyed... but... I really have no idea what to make of it...
